At least one Pittsburgh handyman or woman or Construction Project leader is needed immediately for full-time employment; Joint Assets LLC (A.K.A. JA construction) is looking for an in-house plumber and/or electrician with other skillsets who seeks long-term job security to work for our company. The individual must be willing to develop other skillsets in addition to primary electrical and plumbing skills in order to sustain a full-time employment. As such, you are needed to lead either a total renovation project or simply in your area of expertise while helping out in other areas for the renovation of houses as well as for new construction projects (future plan). For this position, Joint Assets offers a starting salary of $20-30/hour with a rapid and continuous increase from project to project, uniquely based on performance. We offer of $0.50-$1 increase after the completion of each project or once a new project begins, which may lead to an increase rate of $2-$6 per year. If a project takes 6 weeks to complete, on the next project your salary will increase based on your efforts in the current project. It is completely performance-based. Growth is unlimited. Project leader with plumbing and electrical skills will start at $25-30/h, and plumber/electrician who lack general knowledge to lead a renovation project may start at $20/hour. This is full-time employment for a renovation Project leader. Individuals with a primary skillset can lead in a particular area but must have other skills or be willing to learn other skills for continuous contribution to each project. Every project is executed by a team, and all team members work for the success of the team. - Individuals should have or be willing to acquire other skills no matter how good you are in any particular area of construction. If you can learn how to best help your team every day, you are the one we are looking for.
- In addition, general construction knowledge plus some of the followings are important:
- foundation, flooring, kitchen and bath, renewable energy, Exterior renovation, other such as drywall, painting, landscaping, etc.
- We will assign you immediately to a team for your first renovation project. After your first project is completed, we will determine your skill level and the extent of your area of expertise for placement into a permanent track ) including project leader) with the potential for incremental promotions (salary increase from project to project) all year round.
- Lead Technician (team leader): We will designate your position in the team after the first project. There are different leadership positions depending on your skillset. The team leader possesses multiple skillsets and directs the whole team. A leader in a single skillset such as plumbing, roofing, electrical, or HVAC will lead a subgroup at specific times. Your placement will be determined after your first team’s project (which is a provisional period) is completed. It is an automatic early promotion with a salary increase based on your performance in your current project.
- If you become a Lead Technician (team leader), you must have English proficiency and sufficient experience and leadership skills to direct and complete a renovation or new construction project in a timely manner.
