Job position description
Pittsburgh (PA) Real Estate Development Company is looking for highly motivated workers with construction/property renovation skills who are seeking long-term job stability. Salary: $15–20/h, plus an incremental and continuous increase in salary from project to project. Growth is unlimited.
Requirements:
- Must be dependable with a strong sense of work ethics and enthused to new skill acquisition
- Any skillset is ok as long as you are willing to learn new skills no matter how good you are in any particular area of construction. If you can learn how to best help your team every day, you are the one we are looking for.
- In addition, general construction knowledge plus some of the followings are important:
- +++HVAC, +++electricity (including any license), +++roofing, +++plumbing, +++foundation, ++flooring, +++kitchen and +++bath, ++renewable energy, +++Exterior renovation, other such as drywall, painting, landscaping, etc.
- We will assign you immediately to a team for your first renovation project. After the project is completed, we will determine your skill level for placement into a permanent track with the potential for incremental promotions (salary increase from project to project) all year round.
- Team leader: We will designate your position in the team after the first project. There are different leadership positions depending on your skillset. The team leader possesses multiple skillsets and directs the whole team. A leader in a single skillset such as plumbing, roofing, electrical, or HVAC may lead a subgroup at specific times. Your placement will be determined after your first team’s project (which is a provisional period) is completed. It is an automatic early promotion with a salary increase. You must have English proficiency and sufficient experience and leadership skills to direct and complete a renovation or new construction project in a timely manner.
